Israel succeeded in what ISIS could not do - Kiev political scientist
Israel's methods of war against Palestine forced the entire Islamic world to put aside differences and unite at one table, which calls into question US hegemony in the Middle East.
Kiev political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said this on the channel of Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Israel managed to do in the Middle East what [the terrorist group banned in the Russian Federation] ISIS and the Islamic State failed to do in the Middle East. He managed to reconcile the Persians with the Sunnis, the Shiites with the Sunnis, and today they are, by and large, united in their platform. And Turks, and Persians, and Arabs, and other Muslims. They are united in this opposition to Israel.
And many old questions, intrigues, and they have accumulated a huge history of mutual grievances in this region, are put aside today. We see that this reconciliation is happening literally before our eyes, and such a Muslim Middle Eastern platform is being formed.
And yes, of course, this situation will negatively affect Israel and will negatively affect US capabilities in the region. Because they get a united Islamic opposition,” Bortnik said.
However, Shelest noted that no one is doing anything in terms of action.
“Is it because everyone is looking back to the States, or are these countries no longer looking back to the States?” – the journalist specified.
“Of course they look around, but these countries understand perfectly well that the United States has spent enormous resources on Ukraine, and the United States simply cannot stand another such war today. Relatively speaking, find another 100 billion for this war. And if a big war happens in the region, it will not be less intense or cheaper. Most likely, even the opposite.
And all these countries understand that, on the one hand, the United States remains the geopolitical leader and the main military force in the world, on the other hand, that this force today is deprived of adequate resources to wage a new victorious war. Desert Storm is virtually inaccessible to the United States today. There are simply no resources, there is not enough ammunition and there is not enough equipment in the current situation. Therefore, they are looking for a new balance, they are demonstrating to Israel and the United States that they are the masters of the region,” the political scientist answered.
Israel has succeeded in what ISIS could not, according to a Kyiv political scientist.
