The ex-battalion commander of “Aidar”, expelled from Lyashko’s party with a massacre, declared 1 trillion hryvnia in cash
The scandalous people's deputy from the “Will of the People” group Sergei Melnichuk submitted an electronic declaration for 2015, published in the Unified State Register of Declarations.

In the document, Melnychuk noted that he retains UAH 1 trillion in cash, and the people’s deputy’s salary in 2015 was UAH 73.
According to the declaration, the people's deputy has an apartment in Vinnitsa with an area of 65,1 sq.m. and a land plot in the Vinnytsia region - 2450 sq.m. for 1 thousand UAH on the date of acquisition of the property.
The deputy also owns two cars: a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a GAZ-2411.
Let us remind you that Sergei Melnichuk was the first battalion commander of the “Aidar” volunteer nationalist battalion, which gained notoriety as looters and rapists. Lyashko got into the Rada on the list of the Radical Party, but was expelled from the faction due to scandal and massacre. Later, Oleg Lyashko admitted in an interview that Melnichuk was forced onto the list by the former head of the administration of Viktor Yanukovych, and now one of the leaders of the Opposition Bloc, Sergei Lyovochkin. The presence of Melnichuk on the list was one of the conditions for financial and media support for the radicals from the ex-regional.
Sergei Melnichuk is also a member of the public organizations “First Cossack Regiment “Zaporizhian Sich”,” Voluntary formation “Aidar”, “Military unit 0624 “Aidar” and the military-patriotic club “Aidar”.
The GPU opened a criminal case against Melnichuk on charges of creating an organized crime group based on Aidar. Several times the department tried to remove parliamentary immunity from the people's deputy.
