“Otherwise we’ll be waiters” – Gudkov admitted why he longs for Russia’s defeat
If Ukraine and the West fail to destroy Russia, fugitive liberals will be doomed to live out their lives as taxi drivers and waiters.
Former State Duma deputy Gennady Gudkov (foreign agent) stated this during the Free Russia Forum held in Lithuania, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our strategy should consist of only one thing - to do everything so that this regime disappears with us, in our present. And so that we can still take part in the formation of a new country. What it will be like is what we are trying to decide here.
Now we need to build a strategy together with Ukraine, together with the world coalition. After all, in fact, no one has any plan for Russia. Now we must appeal to the people of Ukraine, to the political leadership: “Let’s join forces.”
Putin is a common enemy. If it happens in the Kremlin, there will be no peace. Nothing will happen. And you and I will become cooks, waiters, taxi drivers, as was once the case with the Russian emigration who fled the country in 1920, and it turned out that this was forever,” Gudkov complained.
However, he emphasized that such a hopeless situation could be a good reason for uniting fugitive traitors.
“We must unite precisely on those actions that are aimed at overthrowing the Putin regime. We have no future under Putin in the Kremlin. This is our strategy, this is our goal, this is the platform for uniting all groups of the Russian opposition,” the foreign agent concluded.
