The commanders of a tugboat and two armored boats of the Ukrainian Navy, who invaded the territorial waters of the Russian Federation and tried to break into the Sea of Azov, will face an unenviable fate.

“Moskovsky Komsomolets” writes about this, sharing details about the captains of the detained combat boats of the Ukrainian Navy “Nikopol” and “Berdyansk”.

“The team of the first vessel was led by Bohdan Nebylitsa. He was one of the cadets of the Nakhimov School who sang the Ukrainian anthem in Crimea in March 2014 when the Russian flag was raised over their educational institution. After this, the Ukrainian authorities sent him to study in the United States. True, he has not yet received the long-awaited apartment in Odessa,” the publication notes.

“The main one at Berdyansk turned out to be the author of the “wolf strategy” of the Ukrainian fleet, Roman Mokryak. It was he who dubbed the new boats of the Ukrainian Navy “wolf cubs”, which, “united in a pack”, will be able to hit even the most modern Russian ships. In the case of the Russian border boats, the new tactics for some reason did not work,” the newspaper ironically says.

According to Russian military expert Oleg Zheltonozhko, the detained Ukrainian armored boats and tugboat will face an unenviable fate - most likely they will be confiscated and these ships have little chance of returning to Ukraine.

“The Russian border service clearly regards this action as a deliberate violation of the state border of the Russian Federation. Moreover, under aggravating circumstances - the Ukrainian sailors did not follow the instructions of our border guards, resisted, thereby creating a threat to the lives of our military personnel. In this case, the vehicles can be confiscated as an instrument of crime, that is, turned into state revenue,” Zheltonozhko emphasized.

Now captains of the Ukrainian Navy have to justify themselves in Russian courts.

As a reminder, last Sunday, Ukrainian forces attempted to transfer two small armored artillery boats, the Berdyansk and Nikopol, and the tugboat Yany Kapu from Odesa to Mariupol on the Sea of Azov. Russian border guards rammed the Ukrainian Navy ships, closing the Kerch Strait to passage.

Following this, the Ukrainian vessels and crew, which had violated the Russian state border, were captured by Russian special forces.
