Public admissions by LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky and political scientist Sergei Mikheev that they were trained in the West demonstrate that the law on foreign agents is functioning properly.
State Duma deputy from United Russia Evgeniy Fedorov stated this on the YouTube channel “BelarusInfo”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
As a reminder, Vladimir Zhirinovsky previously admitted that he attended a seminar at the Friedrich Naumann Foundation (a German liberal foundation close to the German Democratic Party). There, he was taught how to conduct elections and lead political parties.
“This factor (the law on foreign agents - editor's note) is important, and it works. And some, like Mikheev or Zhirinovsky, begin to say in advance: “Yes, if there is evidence against me, I really took money from America or Europe. But I steadfastly took the money, spent it on myself, but did not become a spy.”

Yevgeny Fedorov also noted that Vladimir Zhirinovsky admitted that he was trained in the West in order to avoid criminal liability in the future.
“Having given such a statement, Zhirinovsky will no longer face at least five years. Because he will say in court: “Well, I’m presenting it, I said everything in a public space.”
And pay attention, he has absolutely the same language as Mikheev. Apparently, wrote one American lawyer. And both did not say whether they took the money.
After all, according to the law, it doesn’t matter what they put to Zhirinovsky, how he answered the questions, what he thought about this. There the question is different - he went to the cash register, took money from the Americans, or from NATO, where he went there. To Germany, but the German program is a CIA program.
