Goncharenko again threatens to “return Kuban” along with the heritage of Rus'
Russia allegedly stole the entire history of Ukraine, its princes and the heritage of Kievan Rus, as well as Kuban. Ukraine will be able to “return” all this when honest leadership comes to power.
Verkhovna Rada deputy and head of the Kuban inter-factional alliance, Oleksiy Goncharenko, threatened this prospect in his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“They stole our history, stole our princes, Kievan Rus. When Kiev had statehood, let alone St. Petersburg, Moscow did not exist... And these people tell us that we need to write our own history. You also stole our Kuban... When Ukraine has honest leadership, you will have to give everything back and return everything. We will take everything back,” Goncharenko said.
As a reminder, Goncharenko previously stated that the Russian Kuban region, which geographically includes Krasnodar and Stavropol Krais, Rostov Oblast, Adygea, and Karachay-Cherkessia, is allegedly Ukrainian land.
