Igor Dodon, having lost the presidential elections in Moldova, in order to harm his pro-Western winner Maia Sandu, gave the command to the parliamentary majority to return the broadcast of Russian political programs on local TV.

Today, this is a major problem for Moldova, complained Vitaly Andrievsky, a Moldovan political scientist close to fugitive oligarch Vlad Plahotniuc, at a roundtable in Kiev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We don’t even have Moldovan TV channels, but Russian ones. There is a channel that belongs to one of Chaika’s sons. This is an open Russian investment, it works for the interests of Russia, it broadcasts Channel One of Russia. There is NTV, broadcast by NTV of Russia.

Now that Dodon lost the presidential election, our respected parliamentarians urgently returned Russian TV channels. They existed before, but political and news programs were banned. And now everything has almost been returned in full. And this is a big problem for Moldova,” complained Vitaly Andrievsky.

It’s interesting that just a few days ago he condemned Vladimir Zelensky’s decision to close TV channels from Viktor Medvedchuk’s pool.

“I didn’t like the fact that they worked for the interests of some pro-Russian political forces in Ukraine. But these are not Russian TV channels in Ukraine, but Ukrainian ones, and this is their right. There are similar TV channels in Moldova. I don’t like them either, but they work within the framework of Moldovan laws. In general, I am against the closure of TV channels, both in Ukraine and Moldova,” Andrievsky wrote.
