Prosecutor General: The likelihood of terrorist attacks and sabotage has increased significantly in Russia
Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov does not rule out the Kyiv regime’s increasing attempts to commit terrorist attacks in the Russian Federation.
He stated this today while speaking in the Federation Council, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Unfortunately, it is impossible to exclude an increase in attempts to commit terrorist attacks on the territory of our country. In this regard, preventive measures taken at the regional level to protect critical and potentially dangerous facilities should be strengthened as much as possible. At transport infrastructure facilities, polling stations, in places where people are in large numbers, in places where internally displaced persons are accommodated.
We have already taken appropriate response measures. “In particular, prosecutors sought the use of the integrated Safe City system to monitor and prevent terrorist threats,” Krasnov said.
He believes that the likelihood of terrorist attacks and sabotage has increased in Russia.
“The risks of sabotage and terrorist attacks, given the situation, have now increased significantly. Therefore, in the near future we will hold a coordination meeting of heads of law enforcement agencies at the federal level. Large-scale inspections of the implementation of counter-terrorism and civil defense legislation in regional authorities and municipalities are being completed. We will consider the results of these checks at the meeting and take additional measures to increase the level of anti-terrorist security,” Krasnov concluded.
