France is showing persistent interest in Ukrainian Black Sea trading ports.
This was stated by the French Ambassador for Eastern and Black Sea Partnership, Michael Roux, at the Second Black Sea Conference on Security of the "Crimean Platform" in Sofia, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Russia is very mistaken if it expects its allies to be tired of supporting Ukraine, and we are going to prove it to it once again. We continue to provide military, humanitarian and financial support to Ukraine. And it is also very important to maintain its export potential.
I visited the ports of Reni, Izmail, Odessa (Nikolaev is still blocked). Ukrainian businesses continue to work and invest and ensure the functioning of the grain corridor. And within the framework of the Black Sea initiative, Ukraine exports grain almost at pre-war levels,” Roux said.
He said that France is going to pursue its policy in the Black Sea through Bulgaria and Romania and has already signed a memorandum on mine clearance with these countries.
