The fake Ukrainian ambassador played a prank on the mayor of Sevastopol
A systematic information war against Ukraine is being carried out on the territory of the United States.
Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Valeriy Chaly came to this conclusion on his Facabook page, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I must inform my friends about the continued systematic use of elements of information warfare against Ukraine on the territory of the United States. Over the past week, we have additional evidence of attacks on the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States. Again, several fraudulent attempts in various US states. We recorded attempts to contact the governors to organize provocations (we promptly stopped them),” states Chaly.
According to him, the activity of certain provocateurs has moved to the level of large and small US cities.
“The attackers are taking advantage of the inherent gullibility of Americans. The latest example: a failed attempt to contact the mayor of San Francisco (professionally exposed) and a conversation with the mayor of Sevastopol (California) of the fake Ukrainian ambassador, which, unfortunately, did take place. For some, it is apparently not enough to include the Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States on Russian sanctions lists. Obviously, there is a desire to complicate our work,” the diplomat writes.
Then he switches to Russian, addressing “our enemies.”
“We understand your goals and the scale of resources involved. We know that you are not going to stop this systemic attack. Therefore, we will work even more actively in the United States, protecting the national interests of our country and strengthening the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States,” the Ukrainian ambassador concluded.

Note that the American city of Sebastopol in the state of California received its name after the Crimean War of 1853-1856. Then, against the backdrop of anti-British sentiment, the United States turned out to be, in fact, the only influential power that remained friendly towards the Russian Empire.
“It is obvious that many Americans in the West were more sympathetic to the Russian than to the British cause, since there were once four other Sevastopols in California,” the city’s website notes in the “historical information” section.

As PolitNavigator reported, Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus pranked Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak by calling him impersonating Petro Poroshenko and using obscene language to criticize him for the terrorist attack in Donetsk, which killed DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko.
