The fake “Crimean prosecutor’s office” opened a criminal case against Booking.com for “trading in stolen goods”
Created in Kyiv and existing only on paper, the “prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” has opened criminal proceedings against the global booking network Booking.com “for trafficking in stolen goods” and access to this site can be blocked in Ukraine.

This was announced by People's Deputy from the Popular Front Georgy Logvinsky.
“Dutch company Booking.com. actively cooperates with the gangster power of impostors, but also openly advertises, carries out operations and sells accommodation in Ukraine in sanatoriums and hotels in Crimea. The impudence reaches the point that they sell vouchers even to sanatoriums “squeezed out” from the Verkhovna Rada and the Presidential Administration, stealing money from actually the highest authorities of Ukraine. Accordingly, he is an accomplice to the crime under Art. 332-1, 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” notes Logvinsky.
Logvinsky advocates restricting access to the site and reimbursing Ukraine for all funds received.
“I hope that highly developed Holland, which considers Ukraine unworthy of being a member of the EU, will not be able to help but notice the beam in its eye and will also bring to justice the violator of national and international legislation,” Logvinsky noted.
Let us remind you that Booking.com has existed since 2005 and is owned by the American holding Priceline, which also controls similar systems Kayak and Agoda.com. Booking.com offers accommodation in more than 700 thousand hotels in 200 countries. According to ComScore, in July 2015, the Booking.com audience in Russia amounted to 4,119 million unique visitors.
