Federalization will completely rid Ukraine of future wars – Basurin
Only a federal structure can provide Ukraine with stable and long-term peace.
This was stated on air by the former spokesman for the DPR army, military expert Eduard Basurin, on the air of Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“What can we agree on regarding the Ukrainian track?” the presenter asked.
"This is a change in the political structure and the Constitution of Ukraine, from a unitary government to a federal or confederative one. I think that negotiations will be conducted in this context.
"The sovereignty of a given territory should be determined by the citizens living there . This is an opportunity to resolve problems existing in a neighboring state without major military action," Basurin said.
He stressed that the summit in Alaska would also likely discuss the main goals of the NDC – the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine, and the return of Russian territories.
