The European Parliament has been taken under control by pro-American and anti-Russian forces – Member of the Bundestag
A draft resolution “On Russia, the case of Alexei Navalny, the build-up of military power on the border with Ukraine and Russian attacks in the Czech Republic”, which provides for unprecedented anti-Russian sanctions, has been registered in the European Parliament.
The draft proposes disconnecting Russia from the international interbank payment system SWIFT, as well as abandoning oil and gas “in the event of continued aggression in Ukraine.” In addition, we are talking about stopping the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
Alexander Neu, a member of the German Bundestag Defense Committee, believes that the chances of approval of the resolution are quite high.
“I can say that the European Parliament can now do anything. Now it is controlled by pro-American and anti-Russian politicians. They are ready to destroy all bridges with the Russian Federation. They need victory in Ukraine, so they will not give the opportunity to take a neutral position and will support all anti-Russian Westerners in this country,” Noah told Izvestia.
