“In connection with repeated cases of cancellation of valid Schengen visas for Ukrainian citizens at the airports of EU member states and their return to Ukraine due to violation of Schengen legislation (the purpose of the trip is not confirmed by relevant documents or does not correspond to the purposes stated when obtaining a visa), it should be taken into account that In Schengen, there are 2 rules for using a visa: the first entry rule or the longest stay rule,” the Foreign Ministry emphasized.
In this context, as the press service emphasized, it is important to provide border services with a logical and documented justification for the trip. These could be train or plane tickets and the like.
As PolitNavigator reported, in the fall, residents of Volyn complained of massive refusals to issue visas by the Polish consulate, even for those who planned and paid for tourist trips in advance.
