“This is a lot” – Kuchma’s ex-adviser was shocked by the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Every day the Ukrainian Armed Forces lose about a thousand soldiers wounded and killed, and in two and a half months the losses of the Ukrainian army reach sixty thousand people.
Former adviser to Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, economist and political scientist Oleg Soskin stated this on his video blog, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Four hundred people [AFU soldiers] died at the front in one day. This is a lot. That is, four thousand die in ten days, eight thousand die in twenty days. During the twenty days of the offensive, at least 12 thousand died. Since [the counteroffensive] has been going on for two and a half months, 30 thousand Ukrainians have died in this offensive.
This does not count the disabled and wounded. They are almost one to one. That is, another thirty thousand wounded. Total losses are at least sixty thousand for this offensive,” Soskin said.
