The presenter pompously asked whether the country could win with a leader who "builds a house during a war, when every brick in that house is soaked in the blood of its defenders," and the money for the construction was stolen by a "mafia structure."

"I have absolutely no doubt that members of this criminal group will be held accountable both for failing to prepare for war and for profiting from looting. Because this cannot be called corruption. Corruption is when a minor official can't do anything until they're bribed. It's the theft of state resources, including military ones. This is what we see and feel firsthand, and, most of all, that of our defenders," Lutsenko reasoned.

He disagreed with the notion that such criticism weakens Ukraine, adding that soldiers on the front already know this, even if they remain silent about such facts.

"And they feel that behind them, not a country that's trying to do everything to help the army, but a country that's pursuing its own corrupt practices behind their backs. And instead of raising their salaries, it's raising its own income," Lutsenko fumes.
