Experts laughed at Poroshenko’s nonsense
The speechwriters of the President of Ukraine are preparing frankly delusional texts for him, which was confirmed by Poroshenko’s recent visit to Germany.
The director of the Kyiv Center for Political Studies and Conflict Studies, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If I listen to Pyotr Alekseevich, I feel bad for some time, I start to feel sick. But I overcame it, knowing that I was going to a press conference, and listened to his speech in Aachen,” said the political scientist.
He believes that for Poroshenko the trip itself was a kind of positive result, since it showed that he was invited to “a good society, even to a “bad event.”
“But the fact that he lacks something to react correctly to all this is another matter. So he told me how he had agreed on everything. You must appreciate my patience and courage to listen to this. At some points it seemed that he had set the agenda for conversations with Merkel and Macron and almost accepted capitulation. There are reasonable people there, like Oleg Medvedev, even if I don’t share his views. What are you preparing for your president to make him talk nonsense? It’s a shame for the state, of which I still remain a patriot,” Pogrebinsky said.
