Ex-adviser on emergency situations of Ukraine: Klitschko’s words about the evacuation of Kyiv are about nothing
The statements of the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko about evacuation are not worth a penny, since he is not an official competent to organize this process in a city that has capital status.
Ex-adviser to the Minister of Emergency Situations of Ukraine Konstantin Grinchuk said about this broadcast of a video blog that the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation put Ukrainian political scientist Yuri Romanenko on the wanted list for calls to kill Russian journalists, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“If we are discussing the statement: “Kyiv has developed an evacuation plan in case of a blackout,” the first question is who makes the decision to evacuate Kyiv? Tell me the official who gives the command and organizes this process? At a minimum, this is not Klitschko, because we are talking about the capital, about central offices, ministries, departments, embassies and a bunch of different defense enterprises that are functioning or not functioning one way or another.
Therefore, Klitschko or his administration cannot develop an evacuation plan, because this kind of plan should be an integral part of the state’s mobilization plan,” Grinchuk explained.
At the same time, advisor to the head of Zelensky's office, Mykhailo Podolyak, admitted that the evacuation option is still being considered.
