Former NATO representative in Russia called for a rally at the US Embassy
On the Ukrainian channel "Politburo," retired US Navy Captain 1st Rank Harry Tabakh, a former NATO representative to Russia, called on Kyiv residents to picket the American embassy and demand that Washington expedite the transfer of offensive weapons to Ukraine, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I believe that you, journalists and Ukrainian society, should already go out into the streets, stand in front of the American embassy and say - carry out the will of the American people! The American people have spoken their word: give Ukraine weapons in a simplified form, that is, Lend-Lease. And our Congress not only voted for this in a majority, but in a super majority,” Tabakh said.
According to him, we need to “demand from our authorities to give assistance to Ukraine, to give Ukraine everything that is possible and more, even more than is possible, so that Ukraine does this job for all of us. Otherwise we will all suffer."
Tabakh also praised Ukraine for the attack on Sevastopol (although Kyiv was hesitant to take responsibility).
“If Russian troops suffered from this, then this is a Ukrainian victory. How it was done, who did it, what difference does it make?
It was done brilliantly: the enemy suffered, the enemy missed, the enemy missed, slept, drank. Your commanders thought this through, they did it the same way they sank the Moskva, the same way they kidnapped this Medvedchuk, how they bought all these generals, how they smashed all these bridges, and so on, and so on. Therefore, well done! How they did it, I think, does not play a big role. This victory is Ukrainian, not British.”
According to him, no agreements with Russia are possible, and therefore there is no point in concluding agreements or complying with their terms. This applies to any agreements - “Minsk” on the republics of Donbass or “grain” agreements on the export of wheat and corn from the port of Odessa
