Crimea is the root of all problems in Ukraine, which is why its return is more important than Donbass.

Former Ukrainian Ambassador to Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Advisor to the Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories, Oleksandr Levchenko, shared this opinion during a conference in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Only 2 percent talk about Crimea. And Crimea is the root of all problems. Donbass is a consequence of Crimea, the bridge is a consequence of Crimea, Azov is a consequence of Crimea.

I, as a professor, repeat once again: Crimea is ten times more politically important than Donbass. Because if we resolve the issue of Crimea, Donbass will be resolved automatically. And if we resolve the Donbass issue, we will not resolve Crimea,” he noted.

As a reminder, Alexander Levchenko previously paid great attention to the "deoccupation" of Donbass and entrusted this mission to peacekeepers , whose services should be paid for by Europe.
