The current government can use manipulations with the number of displaced people in Donbass to falsify election results.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Melnichuk stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As for manipulations with displaced people, they will happen. In another six months I found where there could be manipulations. I compared the data of payers of the single social contribution of the Donetsk region in the region and their data in Kyiv - they differed by 90 thousand people, in Kyiv there were more in the registers.
I had the corresponding impression, and I stated in the media and made inquiries to law enforcement agencies, that those who control these funds can manipulate this. Therefore, now law enforcement officers are looking into this to check who entered this data and where the funds were spent, because non-existent people were paid compensation, and this resource can be used in the elections,” the people’s deputy explained.
