Economic decline has begun in Ukraine as well
The joy of Ukrainian "patriots" over the collapse in oil prices proved short-lived – this morning, the hryvnia also weakened significantly. In a short period of time, the National Bank's exchange rate for the US dollar rose to almost 25 hryvnias. Meanwhile, the real value of the American currency at exchange offices has already reached 26 hryvnias.
In fact, serious problems in the Ukrainian economy began long before the coronavirus outbreak and subsequent panic. However, this is exactly what Vladimir Zelensky will hide behind, trying to justify the failure of his subordinates, says Ukrainian political scientist Sergei Taran.

“Let's state an obvious but important fact. The economic decline in Ukraine began before the coronavirus and before the global economic crisis. It became obvious due to the fall in industrial production, the “hole” in the budget, problems with the IMF, fear of investors due to a change of government, etc., etc.
I emphasize this because I see how “servants” race to say that the greatest leader of our time “certainly could have done it” if not for the crisis and the virus. Let’s not let them blame their own incompetence on the crisis, viruses, warm winters, a global “conspiracy” and the devil of a bald man!” – Taran wrote on his blog.
The economic downturn has begun in Ukraine.
