“Up to 90% of drones supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not even take off” - Rada deputy
Ukrainian units are experiencing a severe shortage of electronic warfare systems, and many of the state-supplied UAVs are simply not operational. This was stated by Sofia Fedina, a representative of the European Solidarity party, during a plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I'd like to draw your attention to the very issue of electronic warfare systems on the front lines. The situation is truly critical right now, and almost every unit, not just a brigade or battalion, but units right down to the platoon level, is asking for various types of electronic warfare systems , asking for them to be provided. And in fact, from what I've observed, the vast majority of electronic warfare systems are supplied by volunteers, and volunteers are developing them. Unfortunately, I don't see any centralized effort on the part of the state to ensure all necessary supplies are secured," the deputy said indignantly.

She noted that the situation with drones in the Ukrainian troops is no better.
"And where did the funds allocated for drones and UAVs go? They were taken from local budgets, transferred to the State Special Communications Service, and transferred to the Ministry of Strategic Industry. In reality, we don't see everything that's needed directly on the front lines. According to various sources, between 50 and 90 percent of the funds allocated by the state don't fly or don't work, and the military has to re-supply them," Fedyna added.
