DPR about Poroshenko’s visit to Donbass: “Imagine that Hitler decided to come to Yekaterinburg”
Donetsk, June 05 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Prime Minister of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” Alexander Borodai said in an interview with the BBC that Petro Poroshenko’s visit to Donbass is currently impossible.

“I can’t imagine how he can do this,” he said, answering a question about Poroshenko’s possible visit to Donetsk. - Well, imagine, let’s say... it’s not good, of course, to compare... Imagine that Adolf Hitler decided to come to Yekaterinburg. Even if not to Moscow. Let it go to Yekaterinburg. Or any other city in the Soviet Union during World War II. It would sound strange. If Mr. Poroshenko wants to visit Donbass on a friendly visit, he first needs to stop the war and think about it. And then about your visit. Now, I think, a visit of this level is practically impossible,” the DPR Prime Minister emphasized.
“Let him think whatever he wants and declare whatever he wants. In fact, I think he (Poroshenko - editor's note) has long believed that he is the president of another country, different from the DPR. Well, also from Crimea. Do not forget. In reality, he thinks so, but, naturally, he will pretend and loudly declare that he is the president of all (!) Ukraine, including Crimea, DPR, LPR. Of course, a declaration is one thing, but reality is completely different. I think that inside himself, I hope, at least, Mr. Poroshenko is a fairly sane person and understands the already existing reality,” Borodai said.
“The ideology of official Kyiv today, I don’t know how it will be under Mr. Poroshenko, it is “Western.” We, in particular the masses, do not share her views at all. Residents of what in Kyiv is called the South-East of Ukraine stubbornly do not want to live together, in the same state, with these beautiful, wonderful - in quotes. I allow myself some sarcasm. They don’t want to live with these people in the same state,” he noted.
As Navigator reported, after the announcement of the exit poll results for the presidential elections in Ukraine, in his welcoming speech, Petro Poroshenko said that he did not exclude the possibility of holding an inauguration or his first visit as head of state to Donbass.
