Ukrainian politicians could finance youth budget items with the values they entered into their income declarations

Such an initiative was made by the head of the public movement “Student Republic” Pavel Viknyansky during the parliamentary hearings “Value Orientations of Modern Ukrainian Youth”.
“What are the European Western values that Ukrainian youth so want, who emigrate in the hundreds of thousands from Ukraine or temporarily go there to study, but, let’s be honest, who, unfortunately, will not return to Ukraine? This is the openness of borders, the absence of xenophobia, real democracy - as democracy of minorities, and not the dictatorship of the majority. These are human rights above all and the expansion of practices of civil and personal freedom, including sexual, national and others, which should not feel discriminated against or deprived anywhere, including in Ukraine,” the speaker emphasized from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada.
“We all have the honor of sitting on diamond chairs now. On the chairs of art gallery owners, on the chairs of those who keep money in offshore companies, who do business, including, alas, in war. We need a youth future ministry. There is a hooligan option: reset the clock and finance youth budget items. There is a real option: a percentage of lotteries should be allocated to youth policy events,” Viknyansky added.
Rada deputies were asked to chip in hours to fund the youth budget line.
