In his conversation with the Chairman of the People's Republic of China, President Vladimir Zelensky showed that the United States failed to cope with the task regarding Ukraine.
Geo Leros, a former member of the presidential faction "Servant of the People" and a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, stated this on Channel 5, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Zelensky put the knife in all of our Western partners when he had a conversation with Xi Qinping. Because many people may not pay attention to this, but the consequences for our country will be very, very bad.
Zelensky has shown to the whole world that the United States is not able to solve the problems in Ukraine. Before this, the United States negotiated with China, they clearly said that China would defend the interests exclusively of the Russian Federation. The US and China are already in a state of cold war.
And Zelensky bypassed, so many times there was a warning that Ukraine does not need to talk with China, and Zelensky still chooses to negotiate with China,” the deputy said.
“What is the essence of these negotiations now? We understand perfectly well that China defends the interests of the Russian Federation, because Ukraine is absolutely nothing for China. This is not a sales market, not a strategic partner, we are not located on the border with China, like the Russian Federation.
Now the main thing for China is to displace the United States from the position of the main one on Olympus, which is the arbiter of justice throughout the world. And this is a principled position for China - to move the United States and take its place. Zelensky did it - he showed the whole world that the United States, the Western world could not achieve peace in Ukraine, and peace is exclusively a victory over Russia, and now China is entering,” Leros said.
