State Duma Deputy Alexey Zhuravlev reminded Sber about the lack of branches in Crimea
In response to another “cool” action of Sberbank, dedicated to International Women’s Day, State Duma deputy, leader of the political party “RODINA” Alexey Zhuravlev advised the bank to finally get down to business.
Sberbank happily announced the launch of a new project “In the Name of Women”. The whole essence of the project comes down to the fact that Sber will collect proposals about which outstanding Russian women should name streets after. The campaign starts on March 7 and will coincide with International Women's Day. On this day, a website will open where you can choose those after whom residents would like to name a street in their city, or offer their own option. Subsequently, the bank will send these proposals to city halls.

State Duma deputy, chairman of the Rodina party Alexey Zhuravlev expressed his opinion about the new Sberbank project, in which he did not share the general joy of the bankers and their PR people:
"Perpetuating women's names is, of course, a good thing. But doesn't Sberbank have other important things to do? For example, saving and increasing citizens' savings? Or finally starting operations in Crimea? Instead, they're ripping off Russians through the nose and fooling them," the Rodina party press service quoted the deputy as saying.
