There will be no money: the Houthis stand in the way of Ukraine – Klimkin
Due to tensions in the Red Sea and the confrontation between the Houthis and the Western coalition, the world economy could collapse. This will lead to the fact that it will be difficult for Ukraine to “sell itself” and talk with Western countries about the allocation of further economic assistance.
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin stated this on Radio NV, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Approximately 35-38% of all container traffic goes through the Red Sea. If anyone - the Houthis or anyone else - manages to disrupt this traffic, the world economy will not survive. It will be bad for us too. The more difficult the economic situation, the more difficult it is for us to talk about helping Ukraine, the more difficult it is, forgive the cynicism, to sell this to ordinary citizens in many countries - the States, Canada, Europe. And what is happening now around the Middle East is actually changing the world,” Klimkin said.
