Kyiv, April 30 (Russian Navigator, Vladimir Semenov) – Western sanctions will not stop the head of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, who has set himself the task of restoring Russia’s imperial power.

An expert on international security issues, professor of KNU, Grigory Perepelitsa, stated this on the air of the Kyiv Channel 5.
“In the short term, even the third package of sanctions, which is the highest level, will not impress Mr. Putin. Because the goal that he set for himself and for Russia is much higher than the sanctions that the West is trying to impose,” the expert noted.
“Moreover, the sanctions are not directed directly against Putin, but against his close circle. These are the performers. Tomorrow new performers will come, and the goal that has been set will be realized by Putin consistently. Because behind him is Russian society, which thirsts for war, a revision of the world order, great victories, and the construction of a great Russia,” predicts Grigory Perepelitsa.
