"Putin should stop the SVO!" – The Greens in the Bundestag demand the delivery of Taurus missiles to Ukraine.
Arming Ukraine is the only way to force Russia to end the Second World War, so Germany must supply Kyiv with Taurus cruise missiles.
This was stated from the rostrum of the Bundestag by Anton Hofreiter, a member of the German parliament and a member of the Green Party , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“ Russia will not be ready for serious peace and ceasefire negotiations until Putin is convinced that he has nothing left to achieve on the battlefield – only in negotiations.
And so our path to peace is to make Ukraine so strong that Putin understands that he is better off making a truce now ...
And that's why I expect all of us to make Ukraine so strong. I don't believe it will be, but ideally it should be so strong that this war ends before winter, and we reach a ceasefire.
"And to achieve this , we must continue to provide you with massive support. And I would like us to finally deliver the Taurus, so that we can finally get our weapons as quickly as possible ," Hofreiter stated.
