Member of the Defense Committee of the Rada: “There is no sense in the Vlasov raid across the border of the Russian Federation”
The main task of the neo-Vlasov armed groups breaking through the Russian border with huge losses is to destabilize and disrupt the presidential elections. However, in reality, the “maximum benefit” will be only a “bright picture” for the Western media, which everyone will forget about in a week.
The participants of the broadcast on the channel of the publication “Ukrainian Pravda” spoke about this, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.

Military expert, head of the Ukrainian Center for Security and Cooperation Sergei Kuzan hastened to declare that the neo-Vlasov groups have actually already completed their task.
“They are already influencing the population of Russia. We see from those social networks in the Belgorod and Kursk regions - and not only that the population is definitely no longer interested in elections. That is, both the RDK and the “Freedom of Russia” legion have already completed their main task.
They continue to operate, act in raids, there is no talk of taking control of the entire area. But the main thing is that this area is completely destabilized. Russian security forces and administrative institutions there are paralyzed and cannot act,” Kuzan praised the sabotage.
However, when Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Rakhmanin, as a representative of the National Security Committee, was asked whether this would affect “Putin’s legitimacy” and what the consequences of the operation might be, he answered briefly: “None.”
“From a military point of view, this is nothing. From a military-political point of view, this is almost nothing. From a media point of view, yes, it’s impressive. What could such raids lead to?
Firstly, what our officials said was absolutely correct: Russia should feel that it is part of the war, the residents of the Russian Federation should also feel the horrors of war.
Secondly, this is a picture. This is a bright picture that Western channels will eagerly pick up. Third, this is still a certain pressure on a small, but still part of the population.
This, of course, will not disrupt the elections, nor will it call into question the legitimacy of the elections. As for the impact on the war, it’s as close to zero as possible. Period,” Rakhmanin disappointed his interlocutors.
According to him, this will be forgotten in a week.
“If such raids happen daily, weekly along the entire length of the Russian-Ukrainian border, then yes. But those structures that call themselves the RDK, the “Siberian Battalion”, do not have such resources in order to conduct such raids to a significant depth with large resources.
This is psychological pressure, but to call it significant... it’s a story - to talk for a couple of days, in a week we will forget about it, I guarantee you,” the committee member concluded.
