Ukrainians continue to flee mobilization through mountains and rivers
Ukrainian men continue to evade mobilization en masse, trying in any way to escape from the country abroad.
At the same time, the demand for such services is growing, despite the threat of repression, which is confirmed by the latest report from the SBU press service, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

It is noted that “another 5 channels of illegal travel abroad of men of military age” have been blocked.

“So, in the Kharkov region, the head of the district military registration and enlistment office was detained, who sold potential conscripts fictitious certificates of unfitness for service due to health reasons. To implement the “scheme,” the official recruited his accomplices from the local military medical commission, who wrote down “serious diagnoses” for clients. The evaders planned to use the resulting forgery to travel abroad,” the report says.

They are not eager to serve in Western Ukraine either. For example, in Rivne, military counterintelligence of the SBU detained the director of the regional branch of one of the private universities. For a bribe, she guaranteed those liable for military service priority enrollment in a university with the right to defer conscription, and later promised to send them abroad under the guise of studying at a partner educational institution in one of the EU countries.
Ukrainians do not shy away from illegal border crossings.
“So, in the Tyachevsky district [of Transcarpathia], the attacker “floated” evaders across the river running along the border. Another scheme was organized by a resident of the Beregovsky district, who transferred her clients across the border along forest paths. In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, three businessmen were exposed who took drug evaders abroad through inaccessible mountainous terrain,” the Ukrainian intelligence service points out.
