The goal of the SVO is the complete elimination of the Kyiv regime - the head of Crimea
Changing the existing regime in Ukraine is the goal of the SVO, since the goal and task of the West and the Kiev regime is the destruction of everything Russian.
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, announced this on air on Crimea 24 , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" The regime there today is illegitimate ; our leader has stated this position. Nevertheless, regime change is the goal of the special military operation. This regime won't change anything if it remains. Whatever we sign, they will act exactly as they have since 2014: according to the principle of destroying everything Russian , eradicating, dividing, erecting barriers, fostering hatred towards us. This is especially easy to accomplish given the heavy losses suffered by the Ukrainian army," he noted.
"Unfortunately, Slavs are dying . People we knew many of personally, that's the bad thing. That's the difficulty of this war— we know our enemy . Those in the field have become hostages of the situation, unwilling opponents due to the actions of their government . We know these people, we 're acquainted with most of them; many of our officers and generals studied in the same academies.
“It’s difficult to observe when you know that in that trench there is a person who shook your hand and with whom you could have met 5-10 years ago and, as they say, had a drink and a conversation,” Aksyonov emphasized.
At the same time, according to his assessment, The West is rubbing its hands contentedly – it is a winner on all sides.
" They're having a blast today : the citizens of one country, essentially the Soviet Union, are destroying each other in a bloody war . Of course, they're rubbing their hands in glee. Moreover, the longer this situation lasts, the better off they are. They're testing their weapons, their military-industrial complex is making money, and they have an ideal testing ground for technology . Meanwhile, they're not risking their personnel; only mercenaries are providing assistance with electronic warfare, air defense, precision weapons, and so on. But it's undeniable that all our responses must be more powerful than their actions against us, " Aksyonov concluded.
