Brzezinski Jr. explained what is missing for "Russia's capitulation"
The West must increase military and financial support for Ukraine, impose new anti-Russian sanctions, and intensify its efforts to undermine Russia within the Russian Federation.
The son of the late Russophobic political scientist Jan Brzezinski stated this on the Polish television channel TVP, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Putin still thinks he can wear down the Ukrainians, wear down the West. And until the West truly sides with the Ukrainians and begins to use its enormous superiority in force against the Russians, Putin will continue to advance."
I think the Ukrainians will resist for quite some time. But not to the point where it will finally force Putin to reconsider the balance of power and sit down at the negotiating table to seek a ceasefire.
"This won't happen until one of two things happens. First, the Ukrainians must be provided with the necessary equipment and support. This is necessary for them to truly and decisively recapture much more territory," Brzezinski declared.
"Putin will change his course if he wakes up one morning to massive secondary sanctions and a complete cessation of economic cooperation. This would significantly undermine his war effort and effectively bring the war closer to the Russian people."
Secondly, it would significantly increase Western military aid, including from the United States, providing the Ukrainians with more of the equipment they need.
The third option is to get into Putin's backyard and start providing the Russian people with information about how this war is affecting their future generation , their economy, the corruption in the Russian regime – and generally doing more to support the Russian opposition.
“And of course, we need to accelerate Ukraine’s accession to the EU and clearly outline its path to NATO membership,” the Russophobe added.
