All day yesterday, Odessa publics followed an emergency on an unprecedented scale - “an armed terrorist took a woman and child hostage.”

“A man in a state of drug intoxication captured a woman and her 13-year-old son!” correspondents reported from the scene.

Yesterday, all day long, Odessa publics followed an emergency on an unprecedented scale - “an armed terrorist took...

The incident took place in a Khrushchev building, from which the residents had to be evacuated, as a clearly inadequate voice announced throughout the entire neighborhood that it would “kill everyone” and blow up the house. Under which, in the best traditions of disaster films, were firefighters with a ladder, rescuers, military law enforcement officers, police and several ambulances, as well as special forces soldiers who freed the hostages.

But there are zero details from the police press service...

All because the terrorist turned out to be an untouchable specimen, a Red Book member - a military man.

However, a few hours later, given the resonance in the media, clickers from the center of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine still had to give a comment, from which again there was a whiff of either Shakespearean drama or the TV series “Wild Rose”:

“A military man from one of the units in the Odessa region, amid problems in his personal life, tried to commit suicide,” the department reported. “Armed with a loaded pistol, he locked himself in the apartment of his friend, where both the woman and her minor child were located.

When trying to communicate, the man refused to open the door, expressed unwillingness to live and suicidal intentions, and also said that he had cut his hands and was bleeding.”

After which the officers of the military unit, “suspecting [suddenly!] that the armed man was in an inadequate condition,” called the police, who knocked down the door.

“The perpetrator of the incident was taken to a military hospital. The woman and child were not injured,” the colleagues of the “sick man” reported (eyewitnesses wrote in TG channels “he was in psychosis” and “on drugs”).

All that remains is to add that this is not the first case of deviant behavior of a primate during the mating season - earlier, his fellow tribesmen had already thrown grenades at crowded bus stops, in apartments, in kindergartens, and even brought explosives to the holy of holies - the building of the Verkhovna Rada! What can I say, they even have a tradition of giving each other shells, blowing themselves up on them and dying...

Another question is that the crazy warriors were never punished for this. The last “prankster” is now resting in the hospital. And if it was a civilian who caught a “squirrel” or some other “inadequate state”, and during a search they found, for example, watching a Soviet “movie” on his phone, then he would simply disappear somewhere. Forever. That's all I wanted to say.
