“It will only get worse” – in Kyiv they advise not to wait for the end of the war
Neither Moscow nor Washington are yet ready to end the conflict in Ukraine.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said this on air on the Politeka channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Russia is not ready to negotiate on current terms. The maximum that Russia is ready for is to negotiate on Istanbul’s terms. Moscow is not ready to say: “Let’s just stop the war, give Ukraine a break, give Biden the opportunity to be re-elected.”
No, Russia immediately demands a final decision with the division of zones of geopolitical influence, which in fact will mean demilitarization, or neutral status for Ukraine.
And a final decision for Biden is impossible, because the Republicans will say: “Look, he spent 130 billion and lost the confrontation with Russia.”
Therefore, the United States will not agree to such agreements; they can only agree to a freeze. But a freeze even if the war is unsuccessful is not in Russia’s interests, since it will influence Western political systems,” Bortnik said.
He emphasized that in this situation, Bandera’s supporters will have to, as before, rely only on internal unrest in Russia. Although in reality everything can only get worse (for neo-Nazis).
“Only an internal coup in Russia, a change of Putin and his team, creates an opportunity for the victory of the West and Ukraine. And that’s not a fact, because we don’t know who will come after Putin. After Lenin, Stalin came, and it is unknown what was worse,” the expert concluded.
