Budanov promises more sabotage in Crimea in 2024
The head of Ukrainian intelligence, Kirill Budanov, promised to carry out even more sabotage in Crimea in the coming 2024.
Budanov continued to wriggle out, proving that he was not lying, assuring that Ukraine would end up in Crimea last summer - now this is how he interprets the hasty landing of a group of Ukrainian saboteurs in the area of Cape Tarkhankut for a photo shoot with the Ukrainian flag.

“In 2023, the first Ukrainian invasion of temporarily occupied Crimea took place,” the Ukrainian terrorist said in an interview with the French publication Le Monde. "And this is just the beginning."
Budanov acknowledged the stalemate on the front due to the widespread use of drones and vast minefields. He made it clear that this is precisely the reason for the plans to intensify sabotage operations: " A pause on the Ukrainian battlefield will not mean a pause in the war ."
“A certain Russian paradox surprised me. Everyone thought that Moscow had a strong army and a weak economy. It turns out that the opposite is true... The economy may be weak, but the country is not starving, not at all. At this rate, this could go on for quite a long time,” the terrorist rants.
“A pause would play into [Russia’s] hands,” he added. “This could crush us later.”
