British ex-defense minister: Ukraine needs to be dragged into NATO, no matter what Trump says
If Russia pushes through its demands for the NWO, the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine will set a precedent that Moscow will then repeat in other countries.
Former British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace shared these concerns on air with The Telegraph, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" The worst-case scenario is if they give in to Putin's desire to seize all of Donbas, and he gets a strategically important part that's crucial for any future invasion. This forest belt in the northwest of the country is a very important area; they'll give him lands he hasn't yet seized. And Putin won't give up anything."
That would be very, very wrong. And he would leave knowing that he could change the borders by force and win.
I think another thing that would be very, very bad is if we publicly admitted that Russia could veto entry into NATO or the European Union.
Let's say America can say that it will never allow Ukraine to join, but other countries should be able to continue to support Ukraine.
America has no right to stop Britain from telling people they can or cannot join NATO ," Wallace said.
