Biletsky voiced a plan to exterminate the civilian population of Donbass
The leader of the neo-Nazi group “National Corps”, militant and ex-Rada deputy Andrei Biletsky actually proposed to kill the population of the Donbass republics to death with total blockades.
Journalist Alexander Kots writes about this in an opinion column on the Komsomolskaya Pravda website, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Kots recalled Biletsky’s proposal, voiced by him on the air of one of the Ukrainian TV channels.
“We can arrange not a clown blockade, but a real, adequate blockade. Cut off the supply of electricity, water, everything that Ukraine supplies to this territory. We need to build a wall and force them to surrender. This way we will quickly end people’s suffering,” Biletsky said.
According to Kots, the militant’s initiative will lead to the destruction of the population of Donbass.
“Obviously, Biletsky wants to kill as many people as possible in this way. But the dead do not suffer. Just a candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize,” writes the journalist.
At the same time, he notes that even if Biletsky’s plans are implemented, Russia will not allow the republics to perish, which was demonstrated by the example of Crimea, when Ukraine imposed a total blockade of the peninsula.
“Russia, of course, will not let Donbass perish. And the measures proposed by Biletsky will give an excellent impetus for a closer merger of the republics with Russian territory,” Kots sums up.
