Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced this today during a visit to the Minsk Mechanical Plant, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“They must understand that no planes or helicopters, if they escalate, will save them. Putin and I once said in St. Petersburg that we would re-equip Belarusian aircraft so that they could carry nuclear weapons. What do you think, did we blurt out our language? All is ready. Therefore, let them bring it,” Lukashenko said.
He said that American weapons supplied by the United States to Ukraine are ending up in Poland.
“This is the level of Poland. They are Lithuanians - these mongrels run around. Let them think. I warned them. God forbid, there is any serious provocation against Belarus - our goals have been defined. We know the decision-making centers. I'm not threatening anyone. Insider information,” Lukashenko said.
At the same time, he is confident that Poland will not escalate the situation.
“At the moment, not everyone in Poland is crazy. If Duda and Morawiecki have changed their minds, then the military are not fools, they understand what the answer could be. They do not escalate the situation at the border. The military understands perfectly well: it is impossible to aggravate relations with Belarus, because this would aggravate relations with Russia, a state with nuclear weapons. If they start creating problems, the response will be immediate,” Lukashenko said.
