They intend to drag Belarus into the union of Russophobes
The West's geopolitical plans for Belarus include the destruction of large Belarusian industries and the country's involvement in a military-political alliance with the Baltic countries and Ukraine.
Economic expert Alexander Dudchak told PolitNavigator about this.
He noted that the primary economic interests of the West in Belarus are related to the liquidation of large industries.
“The West does not need equipment manufacturers. In the event of a turn of Belarus away from Russia, privatization will inevitably be organized, as a result of which BelAZ, MAZ, MZKT and others will be driven to bankruptcy according to well-known schemes, bought for pennies, and machines and equipment will be sawed into metal. The first Belarusian nuclear power plant will be the last, and it will be closed in the same way as the Ignalina nuclear power plant in Lithuania.
Let the “zmagars” not dream about some kind of “special path for Belarus.” Belarus will follow in the footsteps of Ukraine. What will be preserved? Perhaps Belaruskali, some enterprises extracting potassium salts,” added Dudchak.
The expert emphasized that the main interests of the West in the seizure of Belarus are not economic, but geopolitical.
“Its occupation will make it possible to create a buffer zone between the EU and the Russian Federation, perhaps even a new military-political union would emerge with the participation of Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus, and the Baltic countries,” the economist added.
