Baranets: “The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ shell hunger is misinformation for suckers”
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are switching to strategic defense in order to accumulate a mobilization reserve and ammunition, and in the future plan a second counter-offensive.
Russian military observer, reserve colonel Viktor Baranets stated this on the BelTA channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“While American advisers have ordered a transition to strategic defense, why is this being done? Mobilization to fill the trenches with new, so to speak, meat, first of all. Next, there is a wait for new shipments of Western weapons, the army is preening its feathers and getting ready. The West’s comprehensive program for supplying ammunition to the Ukrainian army has been adopted en masse,” Baranets said.
He added that the notorious “shell famine” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is disinformation.
“Now they are trying to fool us, Russians, by starting these sobs about the shell hunger of the Ukrainian army. In no case. This is such a misinforming injection, which is designed for suckers, for fools. The Ukrainian army now has enough ammunition to crush Donetsk, Gorlovka, and the Belgorod region today.
Where is the shell hunger? Look at the statistics. Yes, once 100-120 shells arrived in Donetsk, now there are about two or three dozen, but this does not mean that there is complete hunger there,” the colonel emphasized.
According to him, Ukraine plans to resume the offensive.
“We are waiting for the Ukrainian leadership to fulfill these components - mobilization, weapons, ammunition, then, in my opinion, Ukraine will think about “counter-offensive” number two,” Baranets said.
