Poroshenko Bank is suing the NBU
The District Administrative Court of Kiev opened proceedings on the claim of the International Investment Bank (IIB), owned by Petro Poroshenko, against the National Bank of Ukraine to invalidate and cancel decisions of February 12, 2018 No. 23 On the imposition of a fine on PJSC International Investment Bank and No. 24 Warning, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports "
This is evidenced by the corresponding court ruling, which was published on March 26, reports the specialized publication Finbalance.

At the same time, on what exact basis the NBU fined Petro Poroshenko’s bank is not specified in the court materials.
The IIB justifies its claims by the fact that the contested decisions were made by the NBU “in violation of the principles of the rule of law, legality, validity and prudence.”
At the same time, the court ordered the NBU to provide written explanations on the claim and evidence to support them, in particular, copies of the documents on the basis of which the contested decisions were made.
Previously, the NBU excluded the International Investment Bank from the list of financial institutions that need to pass a stress test. The National Bank insisted that the decision was justified.
