“Balkanist” spoke about the sect of Vucic haters operating in the Russian media
The Russian news agency Regnum has become a central platform for propaganda by the pro-Western Serbian opposition, which criticizes Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, according to Balkanist.
“There is also a known circle of authors speaking at Regnum with “sensational revelations” of the “insidious traitor” Vučić.
This is one of the leaders of the Serbian opposition, the former Minister of Diaspora Affairs in the government of Boris Tadic and the godfather of the former mayor of Belgrade, Mladjan Djordjevic.
This is a young Serbian political scientist Stevan Gajic, who is actually an Americanist and specializes in the problems of African Americans, even wrote a book about this recently, but for some reason acts in Russia as an expert on Russian-Serbian relations (he calls himself a “guest professor at MGIMO”, although this is It's not like that for a long time).
This is the hyper-emotional lady Dragana Trifković, aka “El Comandante”, aka “Captain Dragana”. Dragana’s main education is a landscape designer (graduated from the Belgrade Forest Institute), but she calls herself a political scientist. Other authors join this merry company from time to time, but that is the core.
In essence, what these figures write, in general, we have nothing to say, because everything has already been said more than once. This is a kind of sect, similar to the anti-Trump liberal democrats in the United States, whose members, when asked “excuse me, what time is it?” or, say, “how to get to the library?” They answer “Vučić is a traitor, Vučić must leave!” Normal dialogue with them is impossible. And is it necessary?
The latest publication on Regnum attracted our attention solely because it was signed by Tatyana Stoyanovich.
In this story, she is, if you like, the main organizer. Tatyana is a philologist, graduated from Moscow State University and has been working for various Russian media and news agencies for fifteen years now, first as a translator and then as a writing journalist.
And wherever they work, a trail of Serbian “experts” trails behind her, cursing Vucic for any reason. Tatyana was forced to leave the Eurasia Daily portal; now she and her friends are rocking Regnum.
What would you like to say to Tatyana Stoyanovich and her pool of “experts”. If you are so worried about the fate of Kosovo (which Vucic is supposedly going to surrender), you have an excellent opportunity to help the Kosovo Serbs. Namely, to go to Kosovo and do something specific.
For example, at the University of Kosovo Mitrovica there is a severe shortage of teachers of Russian language and literature, this is where, dear Tatyana, you could serve the fatherland. This would be much more useful than singing patriotic songs in Moscow restaurants.
We don’t know whether landscape designers and specialists in black African-American blacks are needed in Kosovo. But for some reason we doubt it,” the authors of “Balkanist” comment sarcastically.
