Political expert Andrei Bodrov stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Be that as it may, the amount of contradictions that have accumulated between Russia and the States is quite high, and the first meeting (Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden - approx.) will be a framework one. I think that they will agree to negotiate further.
On the other hand, it is absolutely clear that Biden is not going there with aggressive intentions. It is clear that some corridors and borders will be marked, but at the same time, I don’t think that any tough position will be taken and attempts at dictatorship will be made. Still, detente is needed, both sides are talking about this,” he said.
Andrei Bodrov believes that in this regard, Joe Biden can call his Ukrainian counterpart and give instructions not to commit any provocations that could ruin his meeting with Vladimir Putin.
