Biden promised Ukraine new air defense systems
The United States and its Western partners will transfer five Patriot air defense systems and their interceptor missiles to Ukraine. US President Joe Biden announced this while speaking at the NATO anniversary summit in Washington, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The American leader boasted that his country and NATO members took over Ukraine and supplied it with money and weapons.

“Together we have built a global coalition to support Ukraine, together we are providing significant economic and humanitarian assistance, and together we are supplying Ukraine with the weapons it needs to defend itself: tanks, armored vehicles, air defense systems, long-range missiles, and millions of rounds of ammunition ,” the US president said.
"The United States and nearly two dozen Alliance partners have signed a bilateral security agreement with Ukraine, and more countries will follow. Today, I am announcing a historic donation of air defense assets to Ukraine— the United States, the Netherlands, Romania, and Italy will provide Ukraine with equipment for five additional strategic air defense systems. In the coming months, the United States and partners intend to provide Ukraine with dozens of additional tactical air defense systems. The United States will ensure that when we transport critical air defense interceptors, Ukraine is at the forefront of the queue. They will receive this assistance before anyone else. In total, Ukraine will receive 100 additional interceptors over the next year," Biden said.
