Veniamin’s grandmother was shocked for the first time by her Russophobic antics
The play “My Grandson Veniamin” based on the play by Russophobic writer Lyudmila Ulitskaya, in which the leading role is played by the scandalous actress Liya Akhedzhakova, has been cancelled. Tickets will be returned to spectators.
According to the official version, this is due to problems that arose at the Vyborg Palace of Culture with Lenenergo, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

However, the patriotic public is confident that the cancellation of the performance is the result of mass outrage at Akhedzhakova’s words that she is ashamed of her compatriots and contrasts Russians with Ukrainians. The actress expressed a desire to go to Ukraine “after her victory.”
“A qualitatively new and real civil society appeared in Russia during the SVO. This includes rallying the rear around supporting the front, humanitarian collections, and self-organization to correct imbalances in partial mobilization. Victory is forged both on the front line and on the humanitarian and information front. So we will win!” wrote Moscow Duma deputy Kirill Shchitov in his TG channel.

Journalist Marina Akhmedova recalled that Akhedzhakova sent money to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“You can ask the Ministry of Culture, the city authorities - “Are her fees paid taking into account the fact that she donates to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine?” Are you putting the bonus directly on the Armed Forces of Ukraine who are killing our people? Or will she figure it out on her own later – how old is she, how old is the Armed Forces of Ukraine?” she wrote.
Before the cancellation of the play “My Grandson Veniamin” in St. Petersburg, it was held with great success in Nizhny Novgorod, although there were also protests there.

Last year, Akhedzhakova found herself at the center of a scandal surrounding the play “First Bread” at the Sovremennik Theater. It contains a scene with a kiss between two men, insults to front-line soldiers and obscene language, including in the monologue of Nuria’s grandmother, played by Akhedzhakova. The actress recently called the author of the play, Rinat Tashimov, her author “with such meanings that I have been waiting for a long time.”
