Avakov lied to the Italians about the innocence of the detained militant of the Kulchitsky battalion

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov met with the Italian Ambassador and told him about the “absurdity” of the accusations against the Ukrainian militant Vitaly Markiv, who was detained in Italy on charges of murdering a journalist.

The minister wrote about this on his microblog on Twitter.

“At a meeting with the Italian Ambassador, he substantively explained the absurdity of the charges brought against Sergeant Markiv during his arrest. We will not abandon our soldier,” Avakov wrote.

Let us remind you that the Ukrainian militant, deputy commander of the Kulchytsky battalion Vitaly Markiv, was detained in Italy on suspicion of the premeditated murder of Italian journalist Andre Rochelle near Slavyansk in 2014.
