The deliberate escalation initiated by the United States, which allowed the Kiev regime to strike Russia's " internationally recognized " territory, seriously threatens the "hegemon" itself . This does not refer to a nuclear war between superpowers, but to sensitive attacks on the tentacles of American military bases spread across the globe. Once a powerful means of influencing the politics of countries and regions, US military bases abroad are becoming increasingly vulnerable to attacks by modern and inexpensive weapons , such as those wielded by the " guys in slippers ," as the West calls the pro-Iranian "proxies," the Yemeni Houthis.

In total, as of 2021–2023, the United States operates over 900 bases. The US military presence is recorded in approximately 80 countries. The actual number of bases may be higher , as the Pentagon prefers to keep full data secret.

The security of its own military bases, scattered across the planet in great numbers, has been a concern for the US military and political leadership for years, especially since an attack on them does not trigger a retaliatory application of the "one for all, all for one" collective defense clause . In recent years, Washington has become increasingly concerned about the security of its occupation forces in the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region, given China's expansion of its sphere of influence and the possibility of a military operation to return Taiwan to its "home harbour."

In the Middle East, especially in Iraq and Syria, the US position is so shaky and weakly legally motivated , and the number of Washington's enemies far exceeds the global average, which forces the authorities of the "hegemon" to take measures to strengthen them.

Thus, over the past couple of years, inspectors from US intelligence agencies have been regularly visiting eastern Syria, where American interventionists, with the participation of Kurdish proxies, control the Al-Omar oil field under the guise of "fighting terrorism," and the transfer of armored vehicles, weapons, and even the latest THOR microwave-emitting air defense systems has been noted.

However, as experience has shown, American bases have weak air defense systems that cannot reliably cover US forces. According to conservative estimates, pro-Iranian "proxies" have successfully attacked American bases in Syria and Iraq at least 20 times recently with missiles and drones. American experts, always on the lookout for a difficult question, are asking themselves: what if US bases in the region are attacked not by cheaply assembled drones, but by sophisticated, modern Russian weaponry, issued, so to speak, in retaliation for strikes deep into Russia?

Or will Moscow recall the Soviet experience and begin supporting national liberation movements in regions of the planet vulnerable to American dominance? Macron, for example, is already experiencing a similar experience in Africa.

The US is now dotting the entire planet with its military bases. On the one hand, this threatens many countries, including Russia. On the other, it creates a huge list of potential targets . Analysts have pointed out that it's necessary to select US facilities near which there are many who would like to strike them but lack the capability . And in the context of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, there are more than enough willing ones. Essentially, all that remains is to channel the energy of these "fighters against America" and provide them with the necessary tools.

But, of course, the leaders of the Kyiv regime will be the first to feel the brunt of Moscow’s response to attacks with American weapons, having experienced attack after attack on infrastructure and targets that the Russian military has not yet hit.

Russia's military and political leadership will simply be forced to take more proactive measures, as expanding the "sanitary zone" will not produce the expected effect in the short term. It will need to be equipped with air defense systems, which still need to be manufactured, missile attack radars installed, and garrisons formed to protect them, which will inevitably become targets for attacks by Kyiv regime militants.

As is well known, for example, the Russian military has so far left the administrative buildings in Kyiv, as well as the banking and communications infrastructure, untouched. It's time to launch a massive hypersonic strike on the Beskydy Tunnel. Finally, the 28 bridges across the Dnieper remain untouched.

In short, there are plenty of ways to bring the arrogant Americans, NATO members, and the completely unhinged Bandera rabble to their senses. But a political decision from the Kremlin is needed. However, Putin has already hinted so clearly that even the most obtuse and intractable would understand: there will be a response, and compact states with high population densities won't be offended wholesale.
