Artemy Lebedev and Yuri Dud are champions of power
Artemy Lebedev explained why he cooperates so diligently with the authorities. And there is no doubt that he is doing this. Artemy will receive one luxurious government order, then another. Lebedev explains this simply: they say that an adult understands that in order to improve life around him it is necessary to cooperate with the authorities. So he cooperates. Oh well.
And here Dud appears. After all, it is him who Artemy accuses of infantilism. Yuri, in turn, attacks Lebedev in response. Everything is like in the old saying: a toad and a viper fight...

However, this brawl is only visible. Someone might think that a supporter of the government is fighting against an oppositionist - and vice versa. But it is not so. Or not at all. Because this is a battle of an oppositionist against an oppositionist in exactly the same way as a fight of one supporter of the government against another.
What is meant. In words, and partly in deeds, Lebedev and Dud appear as fearless fighters against the regime. They talk about how bad Russia is or even how bad its people are. They just do it in different ways and methods.
Dud is like a singer of freedom, a singer of protests. Here he is “exposing” the tragedy in Beslan, but here he is calling for active opposition to the authorities. And they joyfully look into his mouth.
Lebedev is more cunning. He seems to be masquerading as a person who avoids addictions. But in fact, he plays along with both ours and yours. It’s just that the degree of this curtsey depends on subsidies. And if we trace the degree of Artemy’s loyalty to the authorities, then it, this degree, very often depends on the concluded government contracts. It's his business, yes. But then why these lengthy discussions? After all, both Lebedev and Dud run around the government offices, receiving their fat rations.
And yes, if anyone doubted it, Dud is quite successfully and generously financed by state and para-state structures through certain channels. Therefore, his evil remarks towards Lebedev are nothing more than the envy of a colleague and a kind of competitor. They share both spheres of influence and loot. Everything is so banal.
Something else is more interesting here, actually. Why is the state so willing to finance and support such characters as Lebedev and Dud? While real patriots remain without the minimum maintenance. However, as Pelevin wrote, why pay those who already love their Motherland? But why gild Dudya and Lebedev?
There are two explanations here. Option one - the state does not pursue public or state interests at all, but purely corporate ones. And option two - it sincerely believes that by feeding Dudya and Lebedev, it keeps them “on a short leash.” However, I’m afraid these guys will betray everyone “at the first whiff”, no matter how many millions you throw at them. But they are pushing in - and, it seems, they will push on further, either pretending that they do not understand the threats, or really not understanding them.
Do we need to explain what this threatens us with? Actually, everything is on the surface. We see.
